Position: Java Engineer

Job Descripton:

• Design, develop, test and maintain and J2EE applications
• Participate in the reviewing the clients requirements and translate them into technical designs
• Participate in design, code reviews and integration testing

Experience/ Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Development experience in developing J2EE based hosted web applications
• Knowledge of Java, Web Services, Service Oriented Architecture
• Excellent understanding of application server like Weblogic, Tomcat, JBoss.
• Experience with J2EE technologies and real world web services
• Hands-on experience in developing web applications
• Experience with object oriented analysis and design patterns is plus
• Experience with Web front end technologies
• Knowledge of HTML/DHTML, JavaScript, XML/XSL technologies
• Knowledge of Oracle PL / SQL, SQL queries & UNIX
• Experience with Hibernate, Spring framework is plus.
• Proactive, self-motivated and strong analytical/problem solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
• Attention to detail, quality and ability to work under tight deadlines
